1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Rakutan (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Apple Standard EULA

Your use of the App is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). For details, see:

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Billing Entity: Apple/Google for mobile store purchases; Stripe for web purchases.
• Payment: Charged at purchase confirmation by the applicable store or Stripe.
• Auto-Renewal: Renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal Charges: Billed within 24 hours prior to the period end.
• Manage/Cancel: Manage or turn off auto-renewal in the store account settings or "Account Settings" on the web.
• Free Trials: If offered, trial terms are shown before start; subscriptions renew automatically after the trial unless cancelled in advance.
• Price Changes: We follow store policies for notifications/consent before price changes.

4. Restore & Continued Access

Subscription information is stored with your account. If you change devices, your purchased plan will be automatically reflected when you log in with the same account. If a store purchase is not reflected, please try the in-app "Restore Purchases" feature. After cancellation, you can continue to use paid features until the current period ends.

Important: App Store/Google Play purchases are linked to the account you were logged into at the time of purchase. If you attempt to purchase using the same Apple ID/Google account from a different app account, that purchase will be applied to the original account and will not be applied to the new account. In such cases, you must either log in with the original account or request a refund from the store.

5. Refunds

Refunds follow the policies of Apple/Google. For web/Stripe payments, contact support. Except where required by law, we do not guarantee refunds beyond store policies.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account in "Account Settings." Data cannot be restored after deletion. To stop recurring charges, turn off auto-renewal in the store or web subscription settings.

7. Service Changes or Suspension

We may modify, suspend, or terminate features for maintenance, legal compliance, or operational reasons. Material changes will be notified in advance when feasible.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate laws or public policy.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation.
• Harass other users or infringe their rights.
• Reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

11. Age Requirement

The App is intended for users 13 years and older. Minors should use the App with parental consent.
